NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS

Sri Lankans celebrate the new year during the month of April to mark the Sun’s transition from Pisces to Aries. Traditionally Sri Lankans Celebrate the New Year by engaging in religious and cultural activities. DI organized this celebration which was attended by a large number of people of all walks of life and was very successful in bringing people together on a day of celebrations.
